2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Data

• Authentication identifiers (e.g., a user ID) used to secure your account.
• Subscription/entitlement status needed to manage access (trial/premium).

2.2 Partner Connection Data

• Partner link information (e.g., an invite/link token, connection status).
• Shared features are limited to you and your connected partner.

2.3 Intimacy & Relationship Data (You Choose to Enter)

• Journal entries, reflections, and notes.
• Soulprint quiz results and related insights.
• Intimacy logs and other feature content you create.

This information is used only to provide app features to you and your connected partner.

2.4 Optional Media

• Photos, videos, or other media you upload to features such as chat, the Journal, or "Pleasure Chest".
• Media shared between partners is end-to-end encrypted — only you and your connected partner can view it.
• Couples Flirt LLC cannot access, view, or moderate the content of encrypted media.

2.5 Device & App Usage Data

• Basic technical information needed to run the app reliably (e.g., app version, device type, crash diagnostics).
• Used to improve stability, performance, and security.

2.6 Notifications (If Enabled)

• If you enable push notifications, we may store a notification token for your device.
• Used only to deliver notifications you've opted into (e.g., partner messages or proximity nudges).

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and secure your account.
• Connect you with your chosen partner and enable shared features.
• Generate and display features like your Soulprint and personalized suggestions.
• Support relationship tools such as shared logs, reminders, and connection nudges.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not use your private relationship content to sell ads or build advertising profiles.

4. Sharing & Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information or private content.

4.1 Service Providers

Couples Flirt uses trusted third-party infrastructure providers to host and secure data (for example, cloud hosting, databases, file storage, and notification delivery). These providers act only on our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes.

In practice, this may include services such as Google Cloud / Firebase for authentication, database storage, file storage, and messaging delivery.

4.2 Legal Requests

We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the safety and security of users, the public, or our service.

5. Location & Proximity Features Optional

If enabled, Couples Flirt uses your device's location to power proximity-based features (for example, "Together Magic" nudges).

• Location features are opt-in and can be disabled in your device settings.
• We do not store a history of your precise GPS coordinates.
• When used, location is used to calculate relative distance between partnered devices.

Your operating system may display permission prompts or indicators while location is enabled.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including multiple layers of encryption and standard safeguards for hosted data.

• End-to-end encryption: Chat messages and shared media between partners are encrypted on your device before being transmitted. Only you and your connected partner hold the keys to decrypt this content — Couples Flirt LLC cannot read your private messages.
• Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your device and our services is protected by HTTPS/TLS.
• Secure key storage: Encryption keys are stored in your device's secure hardware (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and never leave your device.
• Access controls designed to restrict private content to you and your connected partner.
• Ongoing maintenance to address bugs and security issues.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, Couples Flirt LLC cannot access or review the content of private messages between partners.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

• If your account is active, we retain your data so the app can function.
• If you request deletion, we delete your data from our active systems (see below).

Some limited information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security purposes.

8. Your Rights & Controls

8.1 Access, Edit, and Delete

• You can edit or delete content you've created in the app.
• You can request deletion by using the in-app Delete Account feature.

8.2 Account Deletion

Using the "Delete Account" feature is intended to permanently remove your data from our active servers, except where retention is required by law.

8.3 Opting Out

• Location: You can disable location permissions at any time in device settings.
• Notifications: You can disable notifications at any time in device settings.

8.4 Connected Partner

Some features are designed for paired accounts. If you share content with your connected partner, they may retain access to shared content unless it is deleted or the connection is removed.

If a partnership is dissolved: Shared chat history and media remain encrypted. Either partner may delete their own account and data at any time. Users are bound by our Terms of Service (Section 6) which prohibit redistributing a partner's private content without consent, including after a partnership ends.

We encourage partners to discuss expectations around shared content. Couples Flirt LLC is not responsible for content that was saved or copied outside of the app by either partner.

9. International Transfers

Couples Flirt may process and store information using infrastructure located in different countries. We take steps designed to protect your information wherever it is processed.

10. Age Requirement

Couples Flirt is strictly for adults aged 18 and older.

• This app contains mature content related to intimacy, relationships, and sexual wellness.
• Users must confirm they are 18 years or older during account registration.
• We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
• If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

By using Couples Flirt, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to access mature content in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice in the app.
